The Pin2Go operates on the same No Pin. No Start. principle as the other CAN bus immobilisers on this page. A unique PIN sequence using existing vehicle buttons prevents engine start for anyone without the code. The difference is the relationship behind it. The Scorpion X-Series sits in an interesting position on this page. It does the same core job as the Ghost 2, preventing engine start without a correct PIN sequence entered through buttons already inside the car, but it comes from a different direction. Where the Ghost 2 is Autowatch’s specialist immobiliser product, the X-Series comes from Scorpion Automotive, the same Lancashire manufacturer whose S7-ALS and S5-VTS trackers H-Track also supply and fit. If you already have a Scorpion tracker or are considering one, the X-Series creates a complete Scorpion security ecosystem from a single installer.
There are no tags involved. No proximity device to carry, no Bluetooth pairing required, no app to manage. You enter your sequence, the car starts. You do not, it does not. That simplicity is the X-Series proposition and for many owners it is exactly what they want. A PIN they know, buttons they already use and a system that arms itself automatically every time the ignition goes off.
The unit itself leaves no trace on the vehicle’s existing systems. No circuits are cut. No factory features are affected. MetaTrak AutoBlok
Bluetooth Immobiliser

The MetaTrak AutoBlok takes a different approach to every other immobiliser on this page. Rather than a PIN sequence entered through vehicle buttons, the AutoBlok arms and disarms through Bluetooth proximity. Two tags are included. When a recognised tag is within range the engine starts normally. When it is not the engine will not start. No Pin to enter. No buttons to press. The most seamless day-to-day experience of any immobiliser we supply.
A three-digit override PIN is built in as a backup if a tag is lost or its battery runs low. An LED indicator inside the vehicle alerts the owner when tag battery replacement is due, and also serves as a visible deterrent to anyone who spots it. The immobilisers on this page carry TASSA approval. That approval transfers to you as the vehicle owner only when the installation is carried out by a TASSA registered company. An immobiliser purchased online and self-fitted, or installed by an unregistered garage, does not produce a valid TASSA certificate. Your insurer will not accept it and the financial protection you thought you had may not exist.

What is a car immobiliser?

What is the difference between the Ghost 2 and the Scorpion X-Series?
Both are CAN bus PIN immobilisers with no key fobs or RF signals. The primary differences are brand heritage and additional features. The Ghost 2 offers optional Bluetooth smartphone disarming and ISR registration. The Scorpion X-Series is a pure PIN product with no app or tag option. Both are TASSA approved. H-Track fit both and will advise honestly which suits your vehicle and preference.
What is the difference between PIN and tag-based immobilisers?
PIN-based immobilisers, the Ghost 2, Nitro Pin Code, Nitro Pro and Scorpion X-Series, require a specific button sequence to be entered before the engine starts. Tag-based products, the MetaTrak AutoBlok and Nitro Pro with Tag, use a proximity device, meaning the engine starts normally when a recognised tag is within range. Tag-based products are simpler day-to-day but require you to carry the tag. PIN-based products require no physical item to carry. H-Track will advise on which approach suits your lifestyle before you commit.
Do these immobilisers stop relay theft and key cloning?
Yes. All six immobilisers on this page prevent engine start without the correct PIN sequence or proximity tag regardless of how a thief has obtained or replicated your key. Relay attacks amplify your key signal. Key cloning creates a copy of your fob. OBD hacking reprogrammes a blank key. None of these methods defeat a CAN bus immobiliser because none of them provide the PIN or tag the immobiliser requires. The engine will not start without it.
Are these immobilisers insurance approved?
All six immobilisers on this page are TASSA approved, the standard recognised by most major UK insurers for aftermarket immobilisers. TASSA approval is only valid when the product is installed by a TASSA registered installer. H-Track are TASSA registered and every installation comes with a valid certificate your insurer will accept. An immobiliser purchased online and self-fitted or installed by an unregistered garage does not produce a valid TASSA certificate regardless of whether the product itself carries approval.
Will an immobiliser affect my vehicle warranty?
When installed correctly using CAN bus integration with no wire cutting and no interference with factory wiring, an immobiliser should not affect your vehicle manufacturer warranty. H-Track carry out all installations to this standard. If you have specific concerns about your manufacturer warranty we recommend speaking to your dealer before booking.
Can I have an immobiliser and a tracker fitted together?
Yes and H-Track recommend it. An immobiliser prevents your vehicle from being driven away. A Thatcham approved tracker locates it and alerts the monitoring centre if it is moved by other means, towed or transported. Together they address every theft scenario. H-Track install both in a single visit and the bundle pricing on this page reflects a meaningful saving over buying each separately.
Is the H-Track Pin2Go different from the other immobilisers?
Yes. The H-Track Pin2Go is H-Track's own branded immobiliser, supplied and installed exclusively by our team. Every other product on this page is manufactured by a third party and fitted by various installer networks across the UK. The Pin2Go is fitted only by H-Track's directly employed engineers and supported directly by Henry and the team. It is the immobiliser where the product and the installer relationship are both H-Track throughout.
