S5 Plus Tracker 4G
The Track Manager S5 plus takes the S5’s Automatic Driver Recognition and adds the one capability that defines the S5 plus category, remote immobilisation. Two ADR driver tags are included as standard. If your vehicle moves without a recognised tag the monitoring centre is alerted immediately. If a theft is then confirmed and police authorisation given, the system can prevent the engine from restarting once the vehicle has stopped. The theft is not just tracked. It is physically interrupted.
Insurance certification is issued on the day of installation. The dedicated UK monitoring team operates 365 days a year around the clock. A free Android and Apple app and a no-installation web portal give you full platform access from any device. No contracts and no minimum terms mean the subscription works around you, with rolling monthly, annual and multi-year options available.

With two ADR tags included as standard and the option to use the ScorpionTrack smartphone app as a recognition device on compatible vehicles, the system covers every authorisation method a legitimate driver might prefer. The remote immobilisation function operates through the monitoring centre, meaning the engine can be prevented from restarting in a confirmed theft scenario once police are engaged and authorisation is given. The ScorpionTrack S5 Plus is compatible with the vast majority of petrol and diesel vehicles. It is not currently suitable for hybrid or electric vehicles.

Stage 1 – Automatic Driver Recognition triggers
Your vehicle moves without your ADR tag present. The monitoring centre is alerted within seconds — before the vehicle has left your street in most cases.
Stage 2 – Monitoring centre contacts you
The control room attempts to contact you immediately to confirm whether a theft is in progress or whether this is an authorised movement without your tag.
Stage 3 – Theft confirmed, police notified
If a theft is confirmed the monitoring centre contacts UK police and provides live GPS location data to direct officers to the vehicle.
Stage 4 – Remote immobilisation deployed
Once police authorisation is given and the vehicle has stopped, whether at traffic lights, a junction or a destination, the monitoring centre sends the immobilisation command. The engine will not restart. The vehicle stays where it is until police arrive.
This sequence does not guarantee recovery in every scenario but it represents the most complete response chain an installed tracker can provide. H-Track’s view is that for the vehicles that warrant this level of protection there is no better available option.

The remote immobilisation is an additional capability on top of that certified standard, not a separate category in its own right.
Who does H-Track recommend the S5 Plus for?

Can an S5 Plus tracker be fitted to a hybrid or electric vehicle?
Remote immobilisation is not currently suitable for hybrid or electric vehicles. If your vehicle is hybrid or electric H-Track will recommend the S5 tracker which retains full Thatcham S5 certification and Automatic Driver Recognition without the immobilisation component. This remains a highly effective and fully certified level of protection for these vehicles. Always confirm your vehicle type when enquiring so we can advise on the correct product before booking.
Will an S5 Plus tracker satisfy my insurer's requirement?

An S5 plus tracker combines Thatcham certified GPS tracking and Automatic Driver Recognition with remote immobilisation deployed by the monitoring centre in a confirmed theft scenario with police involvement. The Ghost 2 immobiliser prevents the engine from starting at the vehicle level using a PIN sequence you set yourself using buttons already in your vehicle. It does not require monitoring centre involvement and operates independently of the tracker. The Ghost 2 prevents the engine from starting at all without your PIN sequence, working independently at the vehicle level before any theft attempt can progress.
