The Ghost 2 handles everything at the vehicle level. Without your PIN sequence the engine will not start regardless of how a thief has attempted to access the vehicle. The S7 tracker covers everything the Ghost 2 cannot. Live GPS tracking, 24/7 monitoring centre coverage and direct police liaison ensure that if the vehicle is moved by any means other than the engine starting, the response begins immediately.
For vehicles where the insurer has specified an S7 tracker and the owner wants the additional prevention layer of a CAN bus immobiliser, this bundle satisfies both requirements in a single professional installation.

The S5 tracker adds Automatic Driver Recognition to the monitoring capability of the S7. Without your ADR tag present the monitoring centre is alerted the moment your vehicle moves, before it has left your road. That early intervention is the specific defence against relay theft that the S7 does not provide. The Ghost 2 adds a layer below even that. Without your PIN the engine will not start in the first place.

The S5 plus tracker adds remote immobilisation to Automatic Driver Recognition. In a confirmed theft with police authorisation the monitoring centre can prevent the engine from restarting once the vehicle has stopped. The Ghost 2 adds CAN bus immobilisation at the vehicle level using your PIN sequence. Two independent immobilisation systems. One operating through your vehicle’s data network at the vehicle level. One operating through the monitoring centre with police involvement. If either alone is defeated the other remains active.
For prestige vehicles, performance cars, high-value SUVs and any vehicle where the insurer has specified the highest available protection, this bundle is H-Track’s unqualified recommendation. It represents the ceiling of what aftermarket security installation can currently achieve.

Yes. The Thatcham approved tracker satisfies your insurer's tracker requirement. The Ghost 2 TASSA certificate is recognised by most major UK insurers as additional security that can reduce your premium further. H-Track provide both certificates on the day of installation. If your insurer has specified a particular tracker category confirm that with us before booking and we will ensure the right tracker is included in your bundle.

H-Track recommend the Ghost 2 and S5 bundle for hybrid and electric vehicle owners, which retains the Ghost 2 prevention layer and full Thatcham S5 ADR monitoring without the incompatible remote immobilisation component.
